AFTER SCHOOL FESTIVAL Announces 2027 Dates and Venue.

[New York, NY] — August 20, 2026 — When that final school bell rang, so did the biggest hits of the 90s and early 2000s.  From TRL on MTV to gathering around the TV for ABC’s iconic TGIF lineup, these music and pop culture moments shaped an entire generation.  Now, AfterSchool Festival proudly announces its first annual three-day installment where audiences can relive those moments again. AfterSchool Festival will take place Friday, August 20th through Sunday, August 22nd 2027 at Harrah’s Atlantic City. Music, movie, and TV fans can expect an unforgettable weekend featuring artists, talent panels, photo opps and more, celebrating the very best in 90s and 00s pop music and entertainment.

“Over the years,we’ve seen an incredible wave of nostalgia-based conventions, while some of our favorite acts from the 90s and 2000s have gotten back out there to perform.  Those worlds have largely existed separately but we wanted to create the place where all of it comes together – outstanding panels with the biggest stars of the time, legendary meet-and-greets and phenomenal live acts in an intimate setting – all celebrating the era that helped shape us.  Now it’s time for Afterschool Fest!” said Jason Griffin, Creator of AfterSchool Fest

Beyond the music, attendees can explore fan experiences, local food, interactive community panels and meet & greets. AfterSchool Fest is transforming Harrah’s Atlantic City into the ultimate 90s and 00s nostalgia playground. The Concert Venue at Harrah’s will host our live performances, celebrity panels and unforgettable fan moments, while the Waterfront Conference Center will be home to our convention experience featuring meet-and-greets, immersive activations, shopping, screenings and community programs.  A multi-venue, immersive experience, AfterSchool Festival brings nostalgia, fandom and community to multigenerational audiences across the east coast.
